Veritas

Veritas is the second original studio album by The Gliding Faces and the fourth major release by the duo.

Concept

Dan says, "we really wanted to react off the first album, Dark matters, which was texturally very rich and dense lyrically. With Veritas, the idea was to be lighter, give the songs more space to breathe and be less claustrophobic." The result was a very 80s-but-fresh-sounding collection of songs. As a result of the style of the music, the album art leant into the aesthetic of 80s with vibrant hot pinks and deep blues. With "Runway" suggesting a boxing ring, that design element was used as well as the laser beams from "Last night".
