Merexis is the first remixes album by The Gliding Faces. Released in August 2024, the album contained unreleased remixes by Nature of Wires, LorD and Master, Xxäm and Konzept.

Concept

The idea behind the project was that new spins on songs from Dark matters and their maxi-singles in the form of remixes are always good and since there were an album's worth of unused remixes, it made sense to release them as a collection to bridge between their first and second original studio albums with Veritas being released the following year. The name "Merexis" is a anagram, or perhaps you could say a remix, of the word 'remixes' and the album art is a darkened and composited pair of photos, one of Max and one of Dan, superimposed over one another with their illuminated wiring around their heads in red and blue, the colour palette from Dark Matters.
