Running up that hill

"Running up that hill" (or more properly, "Running up that hill (a deal with god)") is a song by Kate Bush recorded by The Gliding Faces during a period of self-isolation where the members of the duo, along with Dan's partner, Peter, were horrendously trapped together and making music.
Once On the nose was completed and the singles selected, this song was to be the second single from the album, however, when Stranger Things season four came out and "Running up that hill" once again became a hit, it was decided it would be prudent to release The Gliding Faces' version as soon as possible. Thus, "Losing my mind" was pushed back and "Running up that hill" brought forward.
Lyrics
It doesn't hurt me D'you wanna feel how it feels D'you wanna know, know that it doesn't hurt me D'you wanna hear about the deal I'm making You It's you and me And if I only could I'd make a deal with god And I'd get him to swap our places Be running up that road Be running up that hill Be running up that building Say, if I only could, oh-oh You don't wanna hurt me But to see how deep the bullet lies Unaware I'm tearing you asunder Oh, there is thunder in our hearts Is there so much hate for the ones we love Oh, tell me we both matter, don't we You It's you and me It's you and me won't be unhappy And if I only could I'd make a deal with god And I'd get him to swap our places Be running up that road Be running up that hill Be running up that building Say, if I only could, oh-oh You Come on, baby Come on, darling Let me steal this moment from you now Oh, come on angel Come on, come on darling Let's exchange the experience, oh Ooh, oh And if I only could I'd make a deal with god And I'd get him to swap our places I'd be running up that road Be running up that hill With no problems Say, if I only could I'd make a deal with god And I'd get him to swap our places I'd be running up that road Be running up that hill With no problems Say, if I only could I'd make a deal with god And I'd get him to swap our places Be running up that road Be running up that hill With problems Say, if I only could Be running up that hill With no problems
