"Lapse of empathy" is a song by The Gliding Faces from the Veritas sessions between 2021 and 2024. The song is about a drunken argument and is the B-side to "Runway". Max says, "'Lapse of empathy' is about someone having a moment of negative impact towards another and how it affects that person and what it means for the relationship between them."
