Midnight

"Midnight" is a song by The Gliding Faces from the album Spectral.

Lyrics

A message sent to no one
And no one to receive
Waiting for you arrival
It's me I'll deceive

The clock's face is growing
And my arteries dilate
The second hand's creeping
This plan will gestate

A second away from midnight
A minute in the moonlight
An hour in the twilight
A day subject to your spite

If time is the enemy
Then who am I to judge
Your choices led us here
I'm clinging to this grudge

The clock's face is growing
And my arteries dilate
The second hand's creeping
This plan will gestate

A second away from midnight
A minute in the moonlight
An hour in the twilight
A day subject to your spite

Never mention my name again
Your impatience is to blame
You'll remember me back then
When we still had our flame

A second away from midnight
(Midnight)
A minute in the moonlight
An hour in the twilight
(Twilight)
A day subjected to your spite

Midnight
Twilight
