Last night

"Last night" is a song by The Gliding Faces from the album Veritas. The song is cementing a relationship while at a club, dancing and drinking. "It was early days of the album when this was written and I was really looking for a new sound for The Gliding Faces. More up and exciting with different textures," says Dan about working on the song.

Lyrics

Last night you were there
You held me so tight
Last night I became aware
While it was getting light
That I need you
Far more than you need me
And I conclude
It's the way it's always going to be

Last night
Last night
Last night
Last night

Last night we were out
Dancing through the laser beams
Could there be any doubt
This is exactly what it seems
And I need you
Far more than you need me
But my heart is true
And we'll make it eventually

Last night
Last night
Last night
Last night

Last night we drank too much
We were hardly in control
Last night I felt your touch
And feel into the deepest hole

Last night
Last night
Last night
Last night

Last night we drank too much
We were hardly in control
Last night I felt your touch
And feel into the deepest hole

Last night
Last night
