Loneliest together

"Loneliest together" is a song by The Gliding Faces from the album, Dark matters. Written and produced largely by Max on GarageBand on an iPad Pro, the song was then made a bit prettier by Dan.

Lyrics

The coldest hello
An awkward hug
You look through me
Competing with your thoughts

My mind there
Your heart here
Our stare hurts
We're loneliest together
Loneliest together

Enquiries galore
Believing it's OK
Locked up tight
Competing with your shield

My mind there
Your heart here
Our stare hurts
We're loneliest together
Loneliest together

New tactics
Social lubricant
Questions
And questions
Nothing
You say fine
We're back-to-back

One word
Two thoughts
Unbalanced feelings
Opening our book
A million torn pages
How can I compete by myself

My mind there
Your heart here
Our stare hurts
We're loneliest together

My mind there
Your heart here
Our stare hurts
We're loneliest together
Loneliest together
