It's on me

"It's on me" is a song by The Gliding Faces from their album, Veritas. The song is one of support through hard times. Max states that the song "is a very up song that explored the selflessness and generosity that comes in a close relationship and how that feeling comes from loving that person and wanting to help that person no matter the issue or need."

Lyrics

You've been through so much
I can see you're losing touch
Reality is scratching your skin
Your nightmares are moving in

Don't let the thoughts living rent-free
Take away that shine we all love to see

It's on me
Don't worry
I've got you
It's all on me
It's on me
Don't worry
I've got you
It's all on me

It's on me
Don't worry
I've got you
It's all on me
It's on me
Don't worry
I've got you
It's all on me

When things get difficult
And emotions rear their head
Just remember: I'm here
Nothing is your fault

Don't let the thoughts living rent-free
Take away that shine we all love to see

It's on me
Don't worry
I've got you
It's all on me
It's on me
Don't worry
I've got you
It's all on me

You worry you're a burden
I understand
It's love you need
To face the day
Get up and face it
We want you to stay

It's on me
Don't worry
I've got you
It's all on me
It's on me
Don't worry
I've got you
It's all on me

It's on me
(You'll never have to worry)
Don't worry
I've got you
It's all on me
It's on me
(I'll always have your back)
Don't worry
I've got you
It's all on me

You'll never have to worry
I'll always have your back
