Lyrics
Welcome to a hard truth Say goodbye to uncertainty Open up a little bit Pass money to this booth Because every day is never tomorrow So open a book, tune the TV Calm your mind Undo biased sorrow Hello, here's your ticket A train passed hope and terror Tracks laid on defiance and denial Next stop, the grey area Boarding passes don't exist here Are you new to this way of thinking Don't presume judgement Imagine water that's dark, clear Expect an unlucky horse-shoe Because you're not in control Addiction to adrenaline now Eat bowls of emotion stew Hello, here's your ticket A train passed hope and terror Tracks laid on defiance and denial Next stop, the grey area Goodbye, snap at me A train passed neglect and chaos Tracks laid on trauma and caress Next stop, the grey area Tearing a hair in half Be happy but actually sad Be sad but actually happy Tearing a second in half Be waning but waxing Be waxing but waning Moving the moon Moving the sun Hello, here's your ticket A train passed hope and terror Tracks laid on defiance and denial Next stop, the grey area Goodbye, snap at me A train passed neglect and chaos Tracks laid on trauma and caress Next stop, the grey area
