"The bell" is a song by Mike Oldfield from the album Tubular Bells II. The original included Alan Rickman (credit as "a strolling player") as the master of ceremonies, introducing each instrument just as it begins to play in the music. This song was re-recorded by The Gliding Faces as a "hugely self-indulgent opener for the Eye to eye album," says Dan.
