Lyrics

Thank god this seat's velvet
 I'm so uncomfortable
 Who's knocking on my door
 It's just a bitter wind

 Thinking of the future
Only to be filled with sorrow
 Say goodbye to lasting security
 Waiting for a better tomorrow

 Who gave him the key
The child in me holds tight
 Nostalgia never stung harder
 When will things be right

 Thinking of the future
Only to be filled with sorrow
 Say goodbye to lasting security
 Waiting for a better tomorrow

 Imagine money grew like weeds
And liquid gold came from bees
Is it so hard for us to see that oxygen is all we need

 Thinking of the future
Only to be filled with sorrow
 Say goodbye to lasting security
 Waiting for a better tomorrow

 Thinking of the future
(I've thought about this far too long)
Only to be filled with sorrow
(It fills me right up to my soul)
 Say goodbye to lasting security
(This is the last thing I need)
 Waiting for a better tomorrow
 (I'm never saying goodbye)
